ASSINMAN YES WE CAN ORGANIZES ICT WORKSHOP FOR THE YOUTH IN ASSIN NORTH MUNICIPAL
As part of efforts by the Municipal Chief Executive of Assin North Municipal Assembly, Hon Nicholas Fiifi Baako to develop the capacities of the Youth and empower them to meet the Government's Policy of One District One Factory and also create a conducive environment for their growth, a day's workshop was organized for these Youth. In collaboration with Friends IT Solutions an ICT solutions centre in Assin Foso the Youth were given a nice treat in technology.
Target groups were; Computer schools, Internet Café operators, Computers Repair Centers and Mobile Phones shops. Topics discussed were Advanced IT and Internet Basics, Business Management and Book Keeping and eMarketing and SEO. Certificates were given to the part presented by the MCE himself.
In a short address, the MCE said this was just beginning for the Youth and that series of Empowerment Programs are in the pipeline, notable among them is the Youth in Agric to be held at Assin Bereku later this year.
He urge participants to into practice what they learnt during the ICT Workshop. 15th September 2017
