Manholes In Assin Foso Disturbing...
Life on our roads in Assin Foso and it's environs are becoming unbearable. Potholes are now turning into Manholes. Motorists and pedestrians find it very difficult to ply the road.
The most difficult point is when it rains, drivers have to meander before passing through the town. Big trucks often are the victims.
Pedestrians are forced to use a very thin lane because vehicles are now making use of the pedestrian lane.
Now the most annoying part is when town folks through their own means filled the potholes temporarily to ease some of these troubles, the Highway Contractor in charge of maintaining the road came and cut opened the filled holes and left them open to deepen our crisis.
The new Regional Manager of Highways has promised maintenance work to resume very soon. The town folks have taken his word and await the contractor else a demonstration against the Central Regional Highways Authorities is looming large.
We are watching and following events carefully... Something must be done soonest to curtail the numerous horrific accidents occurring on our roads in Assin Foso and it's environs.
We wait Patiently and the next action, I can't disclose...
